My biography

I was born deaf, in Drancy in 1978. Fortunately, sign language began to be taught in France at IVT because my parents are hearing and they discovered the world of the deaf through me.

Thanks to them, I was able to do my education in bilingual classes of 2 CPE then Laurent Clerc. I paved the way for my brother, who is also deaf.

After college, I attended the Atelier d'Arts Plastiques des Sourds (AAPS) for a year in 1996/97 with Vincent RICHET and Jean LÉGER.

When the workshop closed, I had to look for another school with my file of my work. This is because I trained in visual communication at ESAM (École Supérieure d'Arts Modernes) for 3 years. I then worked on my own on the production of brochures for different associations and as a freelance illustrator: "The last of the deaf" with Claire GARGUIER and Didier FLORY, "Picto Mag" with Laurent VALO, La Montagne du Silence and Les Signes Bleus . In 2005, I updated my knowledge of computer graphics software and did internships in companies. In 2009/2011, I worked at BàBDP (Bête à Bon Dieu Productions). Today, I am becoming a self-employed person. I continued to work on comic book projects because I share my passion for comics with my father. Since my early childhood, I have therefore been immersed in a comic strip culture, rather classic and historical (my second passion is history). But I'm also interested in Science Fiction and manga.

I regularly participate in exhibitions: in Lagny-sur-Marne (Painters 'Day, Le Cadre de Vie), in Noisiel (Luz'Art), in Reims (Clin d'Oeil and Cinésourd), in Paris (INJS, Art' Sign), Toulouse (Festival Sign'ô) and in England at Wolverhampton (Deaffest).
